Susan Rerat is the vice president of Brides.com, a premiere bridal destination site, with over 1.2 million unique users every month and 60% year over year growth in traffic. Brides.com’s dedicated editorial team creates original content, develops interactive tools, cultivates an engaged community and provides an array of beautiful imagery and videos to empower the bride throughout her wedding planning process. Brides.com commands a superior market position by aggregating content from the three national magazines—Brides, Modern Bride, Elegant Bride—and 16 local bridal magazines.

Prior to that, Ms. Rerat was the vice president and publishing director of Condé Nast Bridal Media, and before that, she was managing director of Brides.com and the 16 local bridal magazines; Brides.com launched nationwide in April 2006 under Ms. Rerat’s direction.

Previously, she served as Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Condé Net’s Epicurious.com and Concierge.com.  Prior to that, Ms. Rerat was the publisher of Vogue Russia and GQ Russia, where she launched both titles.

She began her publishing career at Condé Nast in 1986, holding a variety of positions at Vogue, House & Garden and Bon Appetit.

Ms. Rerat holds a B.A. in English Literature from the University of Pennsylvania. She lives in Irvington, NY with her husband and son.
